From the pile of bits after much sanding and spraying and spraying and sanding and even more spraying these three appeared from the woodwork (almost literally)
Starting from the left we have the Kitocaster - given to me by my dear friend Mic F for my birthday last year. Started out in antique white but looked a bit wrong so ended up as Olympic white, Nothing done to this one yet just assembled (every singe hole lined up) and has a basic set up - no parts changed and the challenge is to see how good we can make it leaving as much as possible standard. The wood was very open grain so a lot off prep work done and to close up the grain o nthe fretboard used a lot of coats of cun oil. Nice and light - a lot of fiddling around to do with it yet but we have a feeling there is a good little guitar trying to make its way out of the box.
In the middle we have the Lemocaster. Built as a favour for a mate - its a classic fifty Quid Strat. It's very loud which is good as its going to his next door neighbor's son as a birthday present, and it turns out that he is Lemmy's nephew - how the world turns full circle.
On the right we have the Concretecaster. this is the heaviest Strat body i have ever come across - was very cheap and won on a low bid (what did everybody else notice lol) - Lovely neck and pickups on it and proper wiring - think it needs a new body
And so off to the tip
